Prelim Works Are Underway

A bit of progress on the build with Sewer Encasement completed today.

As much as it was only digging a trench to expose the sewer pipe, encasing with concrete and filling it in, it's progress!

House Set Out Complete

House Set out is done, it might look a little cramped on the block, but I'm sure once the slab and frame goes up it will give us a better perspective on space.

Let the construction begin!

Our project has hit its second major milestone with our Construction Certificate being issued today!

After many months of design and planning we are now all set to begin works in early January 2013. There are some exciting times and a lot of hard work to look forward too over the coming months.

If all goes well we should be in by mid 2013.

All our construction and engineers drawings are complete!

All set now to get our Construction Certificate!

DA Approval!

4.2 weeks later we have approval to build!

We have a DA!

DA finally submitted on 15 October and hoping for the estimated 4 weeks until we hear... countdown is on!

Then we continue full steam ahead!

You put the plans back in, you take the plans back out. In, Out, In, Out...

Adhering to the finite rules of a developer can be a challenge, but it will all be worth it.

Wall height exceeded, change colours here, more planting there... Change the roof, roof pitch too low, either way we'll get it through!
